Last weekend, Hangzhou had the opportunity to host the concluding chapter on the Sino 10’s League for 2015. All 7 teams competed, with Hangzhou even fielding two sides named Harlequins Pink and White. The weather turned out to be pretty gloomy but not too cold, so the supporters were happy. 28th November – Save the date! The Sino 10’s League is coming to Hangzhou! The finale for the ongoing East China Rugby 10’s tournament will be taking place here in our own backyard. Over last weekend the Nanjing Rockets hosted their own 10’s tournament for the Sino 10’s League. Unfortunately, the sky was bleak and grey and the ground soaked from the heavy storms the night before., nontheless the Harlequins were ready for a big day of rugby. With two Shanghai teams being late arrivals, the games were set up differently with two Nanjing teams, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Wuhan vying for the top spot. Supporting Youth Rugby in Hangzhou

With the spread of Rugby across the globe, school youth teams are popping up everywhere. Here in Hangzhou there is progress in development of the sport in local middle schools, with atleast four of them having rugby practice. Shanghai hosted the first round of the Sino-10s tournament this weekend, and it proved to be a sweltering saturday afternoon. The Harlequins came down ready and waiting with a lot of support and many new faces for the squad.
